Logging in to Quotex takes a few seconds once you know where to go. The demo and live balances sit inside the same account, so there is one login for both. This guide covers the sign-in steps, how to get to the demo balance after logging in, what to do when the password does not work, and how to make sure you are typing your details into the real site.
How to log in to Quotex
- Open the Quotex website in your browser, or the app on your phone. Use a bookmark you saved yourself rather than a search ad or a link from a message.
- Click Log in (sometimes shown as Sign in).
- Enter the email address and password you registered with.
- If you turned on two-step verification, enter the code sent to you.
- You land on the trading screen with your last-used balance active.
Quotex demo account login
There is no separate demo login. You sign in with your normal account and switch to the demo balance using the balance display at the top of the trading screen. If you do not have an account yet, registering takes about a minute and the demo account is credited with $10,000 straight away.
Before every trade, check which balance is selected. The demo and live screens look identical, which is exactly why people mix them up.
Forgot your password
- On the login form, click Forgot password.
- Enter the email address on the account.
- Open the reset email and follow the link. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes.
- Choose a new password you do not use anywhere else.
If the reset email never arrives, the account may be registered under a different email address. Try any older addresses you use before contacting support.
Common login problems
The site does not open
Quotex is blocked by internet providers in some countries, and the platform has used several web addresses over time. Our guide to Quotex domains such as qxbroker.com explains why, and how to check that an address is genuine. Do not use random mirror links posted in groups or comments.
The password is correct but login fails
Clear the browser cache, try a private window, or try the app instead of the browser. Browser extensions that block scripts can stop the login form from working.
The account is blocked
Accounts can be restricted for duplicate registrations, unfinished verification or a terms violation. Only official support can see the reason. Contact them from inside the platform or from the official site, never through someone who messages you first.
How to spot a fake Quotex login page
Phishing pages copy the Quotex login form to steal accounts. They are usually reached through ads, Telegram or WhatsApp messages, or comments promising signals or bonuses.
- Read the full address in the browser bar before typing anything. Lookalike spellings are the main trick.
- Bookmark the real site the first time you use it and log in only from that bookmark.
- Nobody from Quotex will ask for your password or a verification code in a chat.
- Ignore anyone offering to manage your account or recover lost funds for a fee. That is a common follow-up scam.
Keep your account secure
- Use a unique password and a password manager.
- Turn on two-step verification if the platform offers it for your account.
- Log out on shared or public computers.
- Keep the email account linked to Quotex secure too, because it is how passwords are reset.
